Blue Goddess

Blue Goddess recycled dress made by contemporary artist Meg Schaap.

Inspired by the cascading beauty of the wisteria flower, Blue Goddess is a study in texture and material upcycling. The sculpture is composed of recycled denim and floral upholstery fabric, with the jeans meticulously cut into varying sizes to form the intricate strings of the train. An ombre effect transitions from the heavy denim at the base to the colorful fabric flowers at the bodice, serving as a visual metaphor for the endurance and evolution of love.
